Terms of Service
By using Tempi you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Tempi is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that records rides, detects gaits, keeps horse and ride history, offers training plans, and provides a coach audio link. Some features need Apple Health, location or microphone permission, and an internet connection.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter this agreement (at least 16).
3. Safety (please read)
Riding horses is inherently risky. Tempi is a training aid, not a safety device.
- Never look at or operate the watch or phone while riding. Set up before you mount. Your attention belongs on your horse.
- If you use the coach link or audio cues, use single-earbud or bone-conduction headphones so you can still hear your surroundings. Loud or both-ear audio while riding is dangerous.
- Headphones and earpieces may be restricted in competition depending on your federation's rules. It is your responsibility to follow them.
- Tempi does not control your horse, your environment or your riding. You ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and your horse's welfare.
4. Not medical or veterinary advice
Heart rate, workload and other figures are for general training information only. They are not medical or veterinary advice and are not a diagnosis. Consult a qualified professional for health or welfare decisions about yourself or your horse.
5. Subscriptions and payment
If Tempi is offered as a paid app or subscription, purchases are made through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Prices and billing are shown before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. [Confirm your pricing, trial and refund terms.]
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security or access others' data, no reverse engineering except as allowed by law, and no using the coach link to harass or record people without the consent required by law. You are responsible for content you add (horse details, notes, audio).
7. Your content and data
You keep ownership of the data you add. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and show it to you and to those you share it with. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
Tempi relies on Apple, Supabase and LiveKit to work. Their services may change or be unavailable at times, which can affect the app. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
9. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features. We try to keep the service running but do not guarantee it is always available or error-free.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tempi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury or loss arising from your use of the app while riding, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence). 11. Termination
You can stop using Tempi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to comply with the law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Hungary, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. [Confirm the exact court/venue wording with your lawyer.]
